Ed
Alamillo would like to thank all who voted for him
and all who have supported his campaign!
A message from Ed
Alamillo:
Although the
election outcome was not my ultimate goal, I am
proud that I brought light to many important issues
that faces Ventura. I encourage Ventura residents to
keep the debate alive and to continue to push our
elected officials for a better Ventura!
Thank you!

A Legacy of Service
After
my father returned from WWII, being MIA and a prisoner of
war, he landed a job in the construction trade. As a cement
finisher he was able to live the American dream.
My
Father was able to purchase a home with my mother who was a
lab inspector for Kerns Foods Processing Plant. It was
because of their union jobs (prevailing wages) that they
were able to provide us with a home, put food on the table,
treat us to restaurants, movies, and take us on family
vacations.
They were able to compliment each other through hard work
and saving for the future which gave them an opportunity to
better themselves for the future. This to me are the
values of a strong and prosperous community.
The
legacy of my father serving his country and the strong
work ethic my mother taught me is that kind of leadership
our community needs.
